连看两天电影，教父还是一样经典。想说些什么的，结果觉得还是什么都不说好了。
I’m gonna compile everything from scratch~
1st attempt: Windows formatted. Ran out of space when trying to unpack the stage3 tarball. Grub gave me error 17. Cannot boot into Ubuntu. Gentoo changed the partition numbers so grub can’t find root directory. Fixed menu.lst. Mount the root to /mnt/ubuntu and use ‘grub-install –root-directory=/mnt/ubuntu hd0′. Fixed the problem.
2nd attempt: so far so good. I’m configuring the kernel, and …getting bored. I’m tired…@_@ (after a long while…)-> grub is messed up again. I got error 15….I will fix it tomorrow…=_=
3rd attempt: Gentoo rebooted. I forgot to set password for root, hence had to manually add password in shadow file. I forgot to compile PCMCIA together with kernel (I chose to compile it as a module), and my network settings look for it. That’s easy. I know how to re-configure my kernel now. Compile and reboot - problem solved!
I’m now slowly compilling things using emerge. 
shit (..excuse me…), they changed the schedule for digital signal processing (ECE413)! Now I can’t take it anymore! =”=
I still need one more ATE, and I don’t like BS courses such as CS490. Many prereq courses are not offered next term (like ECE380), hence I can’t take Robotics in 4B (I want to make a tachikoma….).
So…that leaves me to the interesting but tough courses: compiler and real-time (as I’m taking graphics next term). Which one should I take, along with Fuzzy Logic, Numerical Solution to Large Sparse System, Distributed System, and Software Testing? =_=

update (on Mar.18th): draft done. 
iMac arrived today. I repartitioned my hard drive. I love apple, but I love Ubuntu as well.
E-poster for ISMRM was submitted on time. This abstract is my first publication (and ISMRM is not a small conference). I don’t know if I will be able to have my name on a paper on the same subject later (volume tracking using pulse sequence projection data…probably doesn’t make sense to most of the people reading this blog). If I have the chance, I will definitely work on it.
I want to pick up French again. I know I need to improve my English and I probably won’t have time to do both on top of every other things that I want to do. But I will try.
My boss has officially left. Today is the first day he’s not in the lab, and I already miss him.

Okay, maybe not all the guys suck, but at least the ones I live with do.
Why did I say so? well, first of all, they don’t take out the garbage. One of them piles up the pizza boxes in the kitchen and never takes them out to the recycling box. Then they don’t wash the dishes after they finish their meals. Fine. Wash them before your next meal. It’s none of my business. But one of them uses my cookware and never washes after he finishes; I have to wash whatever he’s left there because I need to use my own stuff. Moreover, they don’t shovel. One said that he had to work this Saturday. Okay, that’s a reasonable excuse. But when I asked him to help on Sunday, he said that he had plans with his friends already…fine…The other one said okay when I asked him to help on Saturday. Then he’s gone. He’s still not back in the house yet. I mean if you don’t want to shovel, at least don’t promise anything. I ended up shovelling the path almost all by myself. (The other girl helped after she came back from her boyfriend’s house.)
So, guys suck. Period.
On a side note, it’s tax time again. Need to get all the forms and documents ready. I want my tax money back!

今年似乎有不回上海的可能（当然。。只是可能。。），如果那样的话那么秘鲁行放到今年，明年去埃及外带好望角。（当然。。。还是只是可能。。。）
